Continuing on with this journaling trend, I wanted to give all you student stylers some more input on how to make your planner, or bullet journal look and feel just as beautiful as all of you. Today we are talking all things stationery. In my world this means my favorite pens, markers, and pencils. If you share my obsession for pretty lettering, quality pens, and a color coded journal/ planner, you have come to the right place. And if you are just interested in starting to get more into your journaling/planning keep scrolling to see what I use to start your semester with a beautiful and organized system.
Below I share my favorite pencils, pens, calligraphy pens, markers, and more!
Tombow fudenosuke dual brush pens
Tombow fudenosuke hard tip brush pen
Gelly roll white gel pen 10
Crayola super tips
Paper mate flair tips medium
Zebra mildliners
Pigma micron fine liners : 0.3, 0.5, and 0.45 PN
Pentel Energel liquid gel pen metal tip 0.7
Papermate clear point 0.7 pencil

These dual brush markers come in a variety of packs and colors. The pen includes a brush lettering side and a thin marker side. These markers are easy to use, look beautiful, and are water based. I would recommend these markers for artists, and people who want to dive deep into the world of bullet journaling.
Price: $3.19 USD per pen or $26.99 for a pack of ten

This calligraphy pen has completely upped my calligraphy game. The hard tip allows for easy control. Additionally the pigment and quality of the ink is better than any other calligraphy pen I have used before.
Price: $3.49 USD

This pen can give your planner, bullet journal, or regular journal a pop of contrast. This pen works really well on top of the black dual brush pen or on top of the calligraphy pen. I recommend using the size ten gelly roll as this one comes out the most pigmented and bright. A little secret is that it's also just like white out on small mistakes, but easier and better!
Price: $12.20 USD for a pack of 3

I know I know we all used these for arts and crafts projects as kids. And I will admit I don't use these nearly as much as my nicer markers. However, when I first started bullet journaling I bought the 50 pack for super cheap and immediately had every color imaginable. You can use these for calligraphy writing, coloring in doodles, or adding a pop of color to your notes. A perfect purchase for a first time journaler!
Price: $6.99 USD for 50 pack

This was another one of my first purchases when I started bullet journaling. These totally feel like more expensive high end fine liners. I totally recommend getting these. You can use them to color in doodles, take notes, journal, and decorate your bullet journaling spreads.
Price: $11.99 USD for 12 pack

These zebra mildliner come in two different types of dual sided pens. The first type comes with a regular thin tip marker and a highlighter side. The other has the same thin marker and a brush pen. If you are wanting a small range of these to try out or, want to invest in a larger pack of more affordable brush pens, these are the markers for you. The zebra mildliners are both quality, give a pastel vibe, and more affordable. You can even find smaller packs of these mildliners in target, cvs, and some art supplies stores.
